The SmartShield range of products includes all accessories such as Filters, Shielded Glass, Fibre Optic Penetrations and Waveguide beyond Cut-off Ventilation Panels. We specialise in Turnkey projects where design and supply of an EMC Test facility is required. Systems may include Turntables, Vehicle Dynamometers, Mechanical and Electrical Installations, Air-Conditioning and the measurement Test Equipment Packages.
Special requirements often include RF protection of buildings and our Thin Film Technology enables a wide variety of solutions to be designed to meet exacting requirements. SmartShield Systems have been designed to meet the highest level of specification with practical solutions.

Compact Anechoic Chambers

The Compact EMC chamber has been designed to enable 3 metre testing in the compact 7m long x 3m wide x 3m high, the smallest available Anechoic chamber. The fully Anechoic Design (FAC) meets EN 50147-3 principles and is the most effective 3m test range for both Emissions and Immunity.

The room is lined with ferrite technology or combined with hybrid pyramids to create full compliance Immunity and very high performance Pre-compliance emissions. Exceptional performance is achieved for this size of chamber. A variety of configurations are available enabling a choice of ferrite or combinations of a hybrid matched pyramidal absorber. These combinations allow flexibilty with 1 GHz - 100 GHz upgrades.

Construction:

The SmartShield Twin Wall system is of an extremely high performance and rugged construction. Particularly adapted to the latest Anechoic linings of Ferrite and Hybrid Pyramidal type materials. RF performance is very broadband with high levels of attenuation. The twin walled SmartShield room would typically be used for 3 metre, 5 metre and 10 metre EMC Anechoic lined rooms. Rugged construction, flexible size and configuration makes this the best choice for high performance EMC Test Chambers.
New levels of TEMPEST test require a very high level of RF isolation the SmartShield Twin Walled system provides excellent broad band attenuation even during this most demanding environment.

Its Unique construction utilises a range of standard component which assemble to provide shielded environments suitable for all EMC, TEMPEST and RFI appliactions.

Modular steel clad panels assemble inot a well proven clamping system which ensures full electrical and magnetic bonding. Features such as doors, penetration panles and ventilators are factory fitted into panels to suit specific requirements, thus permitting great flexibility in layout and configuration. Erection is carried out from within the room allowing maximum utilisation of valuable floor space. A complete structure can be dismantled and re-erected without degradation of shielding integrity facilitating future expansion or re-configuration.
