Emissions Test Kits
 

The core of emissions testing is the analyser, we have a range of units to suit customer testing requirements.
In summary these are:
  • SA1000 high specification 10 kHz - 1.1 GHz EMC analyser with powerful windows software. Ideal for pre-compliance and self test / self certification work.
  • EA2000 is the conducted emission analysis tool that can be used with any other conventional EMC analyser.

In addition to the SA1000 analyser we have a full range of ancillary antennas, transducers and support equipment. All items can be bought separately or as a Complete Kit.

There are four basic types of kit:

  • RFG For advanced pre-compliance or self test/self certification measurements. Exceptionally powerful analyser with superb Windows software for high integrity results even on poor test sites. These kits are based on the SA1000 analyser and covers the frequency range to 1.1GHz.
  • RFC For small products (up to 45 x 35 x 30 cm) the LaplaCell300 test cell offers a neat and easy solution to many of the difficulties associated with emissions testing on poor or noisy test sites. The ultimate simple solution for radiated emissions measurement. Note that for Larger products, the larger LaplaCell600 will handle products up to 60 x 60 x 60 cm.
  • CLIENTS The RFC kit can be extended by the addition of signal generator and amplifier so that the cell becomes a fully compliant RFI susceptibility and radiated emissions test system. (CLIENTS = Combined Low Cost Immunity & EmissioNs Test System)
  • RFH For full compliance testing of the harmonics and flicker requirements of all products which are connected to the public mains supply and consuming <16 Amps per phase. The kit includes a power source, harmonics and flicker analyser and PC software.

Once the basic type is selected, the required antenna, transducer, LISN, filters and pre-selectors can be added. Details of what is appropriate for each standard are given in the standards information pages indexed via the Standards Selector.
