The LHS-100 System features:
Laplace has developed a new product specifically for the mobile phone and other telecoms industries. Worldwide, cell phone transmitters and other communication transmitters are now being located in 'street furniture' to avoid planning restrictions. These sites include, street lighting poles, inside petrol (gas) station signs, rooftop sites and other ‘stealth’ sites. There is a problem in that non-RF qualified staff or members of the public must enter the hazardous area close to the transmitter antenna for servicing or cleaning the site. Obviously, this would represent an unacceptable threat to the person unless the transmitter is switched off. (In the past this problem did not occur because only the RF technicians are allowed near the mast). Laplace has developed (in conjunction with a major mobile phone operator The LHS-100 system features: · High reliability · Very simple installation · Fully sealed for outdoor use. · Does not affect transmitter efficiency · Pre-wired cables included · Small size · Fail safe operation · Self contained system · Multi-band sensitivity in the UK) the LHS-100 system which is an RF Hazard detector. When this is mounted close to the transmitting antenna it provides clear indication when the site is safe by means of externally wired LED lights. When the lights are lit, the site is safe. This system works completely independently of the transmitter and is fail-safe. |
